This sequence of courses is designed to help advanced non-native English language learners refine communication skills and cultural/civic proficiencies used in everyday life situations they will encounter at home, at school, at work, and in the community. The program prepares students to develop extended oral fluency, read and understand work-specific and authentic language texts, and complete extended writing tasks. It prepares students for academic credit courses and oral and written communication needs in the workplace.
Program Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:
- Use advanced English and cultural sensitivity to communicate effectively at school, for work, or in the community.
