TA 11 DEVISED THEATER WORKSHOP3 Units - 3 hours lecture Transfers: CSU, UC Limitation: Audition/Interview This course offers an introduction to the principles, techniques, and practices of devised theater. Through a combination of theory, practical exercises, and creative exploration, students will learn the collaborative processes involved in creating original theatrical works. The course emphasizes ensemble-based creativity, experimentation, and the development of skills in improvisation, physicality, and collective storytelling. Popular examples of ensemble-based creativity include plays such as The Laramie Project and War Horse. NR
