This sequence of courses is designed to help intermediate non-native English language learners strengthen communication skills and cultural/civic proficiencies used in everyday life situations encountered at home, at school, at work, and in the community. The program prepares students to engage in conversations on a variety of subjects beyond that of personal experience, read and understand texts from different genres, and write basic paragraphs. It also prepares students for the advanced level program.
