Courses
The Digital Media Art program prepares students with a strong foundation in digital creative content for art and design. The program begins with design fundamentals where students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a project-based curriculum. The courses in the program provide a hands-on experience for students to develop an understanding of the creative process. Students are encouraged to take a diverse range of Digital Media Art courses including digital photography, graphic design, motion design, and video production classes. All Digital Media Art courses require students to develop a professional portfolio for entry level positions in the creative industry.
Major
Students majoring in Digital Media Art are provided with a rich foundation in design fundamentals while focusing on the creative process of digital art. Additionally, students are encouraged to explore a range of digital media art courses that suit their interests in graphic design, digital photography, and video.
The Digital Media Art Program offers a hands-on, creative curriculum with a pathway to an Associate’s Degree and a Certificate of Achievement. The program supports a wide range of students, including re-entry, dual enrollment, and non-traditional individuals who need upskilling. The DMA Program fosters economic and workforce development through strategic partnerships with local industry.

Program Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the Digital Media Art program, students will be able to:
