ARTH 115 COLLECTIONS MANAGEMENT3 Units - 3 hours lecture Transfers: CSU This course provides an introduction to the practical applications of collections management, including how collections are developed, catalogued and used. The course examines the roles and responsibilities of those involved in collections management; acquisition and deaccession processes; record-keeping methodologies; and how objects and records are accessed for ongoing research and exhibitions.
