AESL 501 BEGINNING LOW AESL MULTI-SKILLS0 Units - 10 hours lecture Recommended Preparation: Students should be literate in native spoken language, semi-literate in native written language. In this beginning low AESL multi-skills non-credit course, English learners will practice listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills focused on everyday situations and U.S. civics and culture. Students will work on English skills to be able to function in an English speaking community, such as recognizing and using common words, following directions, recognizing and using commands, and filling out simple forms.
