LIB 20H HONORS CRITICAL THINKING AND RESEARCH WRITING

Limitation: Honors course
Critical thinking and research facilitate student analysis and synthesis of ideas presented in assigned readings, with students practicing iterative research writing through critiques, exploratory exposition, and evidence-based essays. Students will use strategic information exploration in various contexts and modes, applying a critical lens to discoveries to integrate diverse perspectives and knowledge. Honors enrichment through extended research and criticism of a contemporary information issue that may be used for a conference or presentation.
