MUS 1 THE BASICS OF MUSIC3 Units - 3 hours lecture

This course is a study of the basic principles and structures of music, including rhythm and pitch notation, basic properties of the sound, counting, major and minor scales, key signatures, intervals, and triads. It is designed to develop the student’s basic skills in music reading, sight singing, and aural identification, as well as handwritten notation.
