Recommended Preparation: College-level English reading and writing and knowledge on the usage of Internet and technology.
This course covers various aspects of Japanese culture. Areas of study include geography, history, literature, art, philosophy, religion, and customs of Japan. Students will study a variety of materials to discuss Japanese culture and its relationship to other cultures of the world. The class is taught in English, and no knowledge of Japanese is required..
