Recommended Preparation: Two semesters of dance technique courses (ballet, modern, jazz, tap, Middle Eastern, African or ballroom) This course focuses on the preparation and execution of a dance production, emphasizing the choreographic process. It investigates the various creative, artistic and practical aspects involved in defining and developing a project. The course is designed to build each student’s proficiency in the skills necessary to choreograph a dance piece from the planning stages through post-production work. NR
