FILM 40 MASS MEDIA AND SOCIETY

This course introduces students to the complexity of media forms in society. Students will analyze media types, functions, responsibilities, practices, and influences as well as investigate the legal framework that governs the media, ethical considerations, historical developments in the various media, and the local and global aspects of both mass and personal media.
