BIO 32 MICROORGANISMS AND YOU: ALLIES OR ENEMIES4 Units - 3 hours lecture, 3 hours lab Transfers: CSU, UC This general survey course explores the complex role of microbes in keeping us alive, making us sick, supplying our food, and regulating our biosphere. The course investigates the types and diverse habitats of microbes; their mutations and adaptations; and their impact on medicine, public health, and the environment.
