HUM 90 INTRODUCTION TO ETHNIC STUDIES

Recommended Preparation: WR 201, WR 399 or ESL 201
Ethnic Studies introduces students to a historical and contemporary survey of ethnic groups and ethnic group relations in the United States among Anglos, Native Americans, Native Pacific Islanders, Asian Americans, Black and African Americans, and Latinx/Chicanx. Students will be introduced to the major concepts and issues in the study of race and ethnicity in the United States and a general overview of topics to be covered in more specialized Ethnic Studies classes.
