DNCE 2 INTRODUCTION TO WORLD DANCE1 Unit - 0.5 hour lecture, 1.5 hours lab

This course introduces multiple ethnic dance genres in the field of World Dance to determine possible further studies and career goals. It focuses on developing movement technique and recognizing the direct connection to the rhythms and music associated with each style as well as the cultural, geographical, occupational and historical influences that led to the development of the specific movements.
