COUN 6 ACADEMIC, CAREER AND LIFE SUCCESS3 Units - 3 hours lecture

A comprehensive course integrates personal, professional, career and academic growth through the development and application of effective communication skills, positive self-image and self-esteem, self-advocacy and strategies for problem solving and decision-making. Students examine individual morals, values, and motivation from psychological, social and physiological perspectives. The course covers goal setting, financial literacy, basic communication skills, diversity and balancing the challenges faced in today’s society. Emphasis is on holistic student development. NR
