PHYS 2B INTRODUCTION TO PHYSICS4 Units - 3 hours lecture, 3 hours lab

Prerequisite: PHYS 2A
This course is a continuation of Physics 2A. Major emphasis is on electricity, magnetism and optics with additions from modern physics. Topics include electrostatics, electrical potential, circuits, magnetic forces and fields, induction, electromagnetic waves, AC circuits, ray optics, interference and diffraction of light, and selections from modern physics.
