Students will learn to locate and retrieve high quality information resources that are relevant to a sustainable research topic of their choice. Students will learn how to use information ethically, with emphasis on their role as information creators, users and consumers. Students will examine contemporary issues in information literacy, including the value of information as a commodity, the contextual nature of authority, and the influence of information as a power structure.
