HD 252 TEACHING LITERACY IN A PLAY-BASED EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAM

This course explores how a play-based early childhood program can help foster children’s emerging reading and writing abilities in developmentally appropriate ways. Emphasis is on integrating a child-based approach and content standards. Theoretical perspectives provide a framework for teaching.
