HD 251 TEACHING SCIENCE IN A PLAY-BASED EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAM

This course explores how a play-based early childhood program can help foster children’s understanding of science concepts in developmentally appropriate ways. Emphasis is on integrating a child-based approach and content standards. The theoretical perspectives of Piaget and Vygotsky provide a framework for teaching.
